If something isn't working, it helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version and the app version (shown at the bottom of Settings in the app). Please don't send progress photos — we never need them to help you.

Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › ContourArc and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. You keep access until the paid period ends.

I already subscribed but the app is asking me to pay again.

Tap Restore on the subscription screen (or in Settings in the app) while signed in to the same Apple Account you subscribed with. Your subscription will be found and the app will unlock.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Where are my progress photos stored?

Only on your iPhone, inside ContourArc's private storage. They're not in your camera roll, not in iCloud backups and never uploaded to us. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I save a copy of my photos and data?

In the app, go to Settings › Export my photos & data. You can save every photo to your Photos library or save everything, including a spreadsheet of your entries, to the Files app.

I deleted the app. Can you recover my photos?

Unfortunately not. Your data only ever lived on your iPhone, so we never had a copy. That's the trade-off for complete privacy, and it's why we recommend exporting from time to time.

What happens to my data if my subscription ends?

Nothing is deleted. Your entries and photos stay on your iPhone, you can still export them, and everything is right where you left it if you subscribe again.

Does ContourArc work with Apple Health?

Yes, optionally. Turn on Apple Health in the app's Settings to sync weight both ways. The app works fully without it.
